We were very pleased with the visit of Nellie Tembo from Caleb center for Autistic Children Kabwe Zambia. She was here in Leuven from 9 till 15 februari 2025. We could offer her a varied programme with a lot of inspiring visits. This was made possible by Ons Tehuis Brabant (Kampenhout), Primary school De Twijg (Wijgmaal), Matadi school (Heverlee), Villa’ket (Nederoverheembeek), Kampenhoeve (Kampenhout), Odisee university of applied sciences department Occupational Terapy (Brussels), Lotte and Louis , former volontaries Kabwe (Moerzeke). Nellie was also giving a lot of information and did presentations about hte center in Kabwe Zambia. And of course we could make it also posible to visit the cities of Brussels, Leuven and Gent.<\/p>\n
It was also\u00a0 a pleasure for me to offer Nellie a place to stay at my home during that week and to be her personal driver during the whole week. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
Hopefully TAPAS vzw can send volunteers and students for internship in the coming years to this amazing center for Autistic children.\u00a0 Don’t hesitate to contact me.<\/p>\n
